It started out as a former athlete getting his thoughts out on paper, which later became a book.
Born from the book but built for something bigger, GAME on GAME has grown into a full-fledged foundation committed to supporting athletes at every stage of their journey. What started as a written guide evolved into a movement — one that provides curriculum, conferences, mentorship, camps, and so much more. We realized the stories weren’t just powerful — they were a blueprint. And they revealed an urgent need for real resources, real conversations, and real connection.
GAME on GAME is now a multidimensional ecosystem designed for athletes to feel seen, supported, and prepared. Whether you’re an aspiring athlete, in the thick of competition, or figuring out your next chapter, this is a space where you can safely explore who you are beyond your sport. Javorn Farrell: From Athlete to Author, Educator & Builder
Javorn Farrell is a former NCAA Division I basketball player at UMass and former professional athlete whose career was reshaped by injury and transition. The experience forced him to rebuild his identity, career, and purpose beyond basketball—and ultimately inspired the book GAME on GAME.
As an author, speaker, educator, youth coach, mentor, and business professional, Javorn has spent more than a decade helping athletes navigate the parts of the journey that do not appear on a stat sheet. His work connects lived experience with practical tools for identity, leadership, mental wellness, communication, decision-making, recruiting, NIL, financial awareness, career development, and life beyond sport.
What began as a book has grown into a broader ecosystem of curriculum, workshops, mentorship, media, and community. Javorn’s goal is simple: help athletes get more from the game, and leave it with the confidence, relationships, and transferable skills to build what comes next.
